The Solar Defence SPF 50 is a high factor suncream with corrective capabilities. It provides frontline UV defence with Zinc and Titanium Dioxide but also contains Alpha Arbutin, a skin brightening agent. Combined, this formula not only prevents the sun’s harmful rays from penetrating the dermis but also reduces pre-existing hyperpigmentation and photodamage.

Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Plant Collagen, it rehydrates the skin and repairs damaged cells. Aloe Vera and Ginseng Extract provide an anti-inflammatory boost to sunburned and irritated skin.

Despite offering broad-spectrum protection, this formula is light enough to wear under makeup. Available in two sizes: 50ml and 100ml.

Very impressed

I've got a lot of hyperpigmentation due to not using sunscreen for 22 years of my life. I bought this in January and stopped using it due to finding a cheaper alternative. During this, I was using active ingredients to improve my hyperpigmentation. Didn't see improvements for over 3 months when I switched to the cheaper sunscreen. I returned back to using this less than a month ago. I am impressed. I have seen massive improvement ls in my hyperpigmentation since going back to this sunscreen which means it's doing its job. It's great to use with makeup no grease or melting and very comfortable to use.

Good but contains nanoparticles

Really loved the no white cast finish. I’m on my third bottle however, a few things
- I get dark spots and very tan on my face even with this on. I’m not sure how much protection this sunscreen actually provides.
- ingredients say nano titanium is used, these nano particles are known to build up in the body, potentially disrupting hormones and/or causing cancer. I sent a message to customer service asking if nano titanium is still being used in their formulation because I noticed they removed the word ‘nano’ from the website- I got no response.
For those concerned not just about the cast but also the ingredients and what you are putting on your skin, I would caution to do research on this before purchasing.

It’s really good

I’ve been using the Bea solar defence spf50 for the past ten days now and I’m really loving it, No white cast! That’s just unbelievable for brown skin girls like me. It’s hydrating and moisturising at the same time but with a good balance because it’s not oily at all, so perfect for combination skin like myself.

The shipping costs are extortionate

The product is great, but the shipping costs are essential the same as the sunscreen. I did enquire about this and tried to find a cheaper alternative which would be royal mail, this suggestion went unanswered.
I will no longer order this product, I’ll source a more cost effective alternative.
